How ToPick A Water For Gas System
56A Water For Gas System
You can save money by installing a water for gas mechanism such as a Hydrogen Generator to first achieve gains in your miles per gallon of gasoline used and then lock those gains in by installing either an EFIE (which I recommend) or a MAP sensor as well. This converts your car to a water hybrid and that although old technology is on the cutting edge of alternative fuels research and experimentation.
These are the steps you will need to take to achieve at least some measure of energy independence although you and me are still chained to that old dinosaur, fossil fuel also called gasoline.# A Water For Gas System better known as a Hydrogen On Demand System contains the following constituent parts, to wit, the booster, the vaporizer, the fuel heater, all individually important with the Hydrogen Generator being the essential keystone of the system. In the next paragraphs I am going to discuss each element that goes into the hydrogen on demand system. It is my aim to show you a simplified system, one that you can build yourself if you wish and one that will bring you some relief in your average miles per gallon of gas. I am sure that you have many questions about Hydrogen Boosters and its constituent parts that must go with it to make a system.
# Starting with the hydrogen booster or generator. There are many different types in the marketplace. Usually they all have the same ingredients within them, that is, some type of liquid and some type of catalyst to speed up the electrical reaction to break the bonds of the liquid into hydrogen and oxygen. The shapes of the outer body holding this liquid might be as simple as a quart fruit jar to a sleek 4.5 inch steel tube or PVC pipe. The catalyst might be common ordinary soda bicarbonate or the more caustic soda known as lye or potash. Whatever is used the catalyst bubbles away and the reaction of splitting apart of the liquid into hydrogen and oxygen takes place. The byproduct, hydrogen and oxygen are transferred into the nearest high volume vacuum line and thus into the car's combustion chamber. The desired result is a cleaner more efficient burning of the gasoline and much less smog from the exhaust pipe not to mention being kind to the environment. Somewhere I read that there are more than 100 Companies of systems ranging from the single generator to complex and very expensive systems. Prices range from $175.00 to $1,000 and more for a complex system that the manufacturer will give with a written guarantee. This is as good of a place to give a small warning. Please remember that the Internet is the last great "Land Rush" in our times so please do be careful. The web is still a place where Caveat Emptor does not mean watch the dog! It means that the buyer must be aware of the potential for items being misrepresented.
# To prelude the chance of misrepresentation, do what is called due diligence in accounting terms. Research the company or system by reviewing their website. Also check through Google whether anyone has had negative dealings with this company and what the results of this problem were. You do not want to be the next dissatisfied party.# Secondly, read and visit the Yahoo Groups of the alternative fuels area. Join and read and watch. Be very careful about grandiose claims of 75-150 percent gains in mpg and "guarantees" for the same. The old adage," if it sounds too good to be true..." well you know the rest of that.
# The next part of the system which is essential to keep any gains that you have received from your Hydrogen Booster should include at least an EFIE. What many companies that sell you a Hydrogen Generator or Booster don't normally tell you is that the generator is only the first step to a system, one that definitely requires you to fiddle around with the car's oxygen sensors. The reason for that is that the closest sensor to the catalytic converter ( the inlet) reports live data on the air/fuel ratio to the car's powertrain control module,( fancy words for the cars' computer). And the computer is not our friend when it comes to trying to gain more mpg than the usual factory established points. Any gains that you will achieve from the first day or so of a working Hydrogen Generator will be swiftly removed once the oxygen sensor reports the cleaner air in the exhaust area. The computer will add a more rich air/fuel ratio to compensate and you will loose all the gains. # Is all lost? Nope. Read on. The EFIE ( Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancement) is a simple device that allows you to alter the return signal of your oxygen sensor so that the signal can be received by the car's computer and used to change the air to fuel ratio beyond the normal factory established set points. Normally these set points are in a range from the leanest (14.7 to 1) to the richest,(7 to 1) When leaning you will be instructed by the EFIE installation information to use only slight increments of the signal to see how your car/truck handles the leaner air to fuel ratio. This is not the only time when you should err on the side of caution when working with these products. Please remember that all of these electronic devices are experimental to a certain degree. # To monitor and set the new way points for your EFIE to work, you need a way to read the data coming from your ECU ( your car's computer). One of the best ways to do that is by a Scan-Gauge. This gauge can give you much good data about your car's performance. Although if you are not a mechanic, some of it might be beyond your use and only be of interest to a mechanic but the important figures for us are the data stored in the scan gauge under the side called,"Trip." The following system information is found under the Trip Section of the gauge. * Maximum Speed * Average Speed * Maximum Coolant Temperature * Maximum RPM * Driving Time * Driving Distance * Fuel Used * Trip Fuel Economy (mpg) * Distance to Empty * Time to Empty * Fuel to Empty. You will see miles per gallon displayed and given that you have first set up your gasoline tank data in gallons ( that is the number of gallons that your car's tank holds) you can display miles until next fill up and other data. You also get a continuous readout of miles per gallon. You can see the differences of speeding up to overtake a slower car and also the benefits of cruise control on miles per gallon. Speaking for a moment about tuning and control of the EFIE, I think that the basic EFIE's are more difficult to tune and control to set the way points. At least for me they were.#The single and dual EFIE's that are hard case finished and use dials and ports for the probes of the millivoltmeters are easier to help you to tune and establish your set points below 14.7 to 1. Tuning should be done with small incremental moves of the dials. The results show up quickly on the millivoltmeter and then the scan gage. One of the EFIE's that I have seen and liked featured two dials, both reading from the one oxygen sensor closest to the inlet of the catalytic converter but one dial labeled, In-Town and the other Highway. The way points had been established for each of the types of driving conditions. Neat huh? There is a lot that you can do with the EFIE and many persons just use the EFIE along with their Hydrogen Generator. # The bottom line here is that you can choose to add more miles per gallon by investing a little sweat and time and a minimum of cash. The important of your actions is not that you are allowing events in gasoline pricing to just carry you along; but that you are taking steps to do what you humanly can to establish your own energy independence. By extending your miles per gallon beyond the pitiful mpg of our cars you are not allowing events that you cannot change to overwhelm you.![]() | Amazon Price: $41.25 List Price: $52.95 |
